The majority recommendations of the United Nations Special Committee on Palestine are considered by the Pope to be the most workable solution of the Palestine problem, it is reported today by Reuters from Vatican City.
The report says that although no official statement is forthcoming from Vatican circles on the UNSCOP report, the majority recommendations are looked upon there with great favor.
