Agricultural Sabbath will be observed this year on Saturday, October 4, the Sabbath of the festival of Succoth. During the Sabbath, sponsored jointly by the Synagogue Council of America and the Jewish Agricultural Society, all Jews are urged to give thought to their fellow religionists who derive a livelihood from farming.
