Uruguayan entry visas issued under the old immigration code which was superseded earlier this year have been validated until one year after the date of issuance, the Immigration Ministry has announced. Originally the old visas, many of which are held by Jewish refugees who have not been able to obtain transportation, were to have expired on Sept. 7.
