26 Nazi Prisoners in Rumania Arrested for Attacking Headquarters of Jewish Group

Twenty-six Germans, former members of the Gestapo, now working on a prison farm near Timisoara, have been arrested for attacking the headquarters of a neighboring Jewish youth organization and injuring several Jews, it was reported here today.

There were approximately 50 Nazis involved in the attacks. The district police chief is personally conducting the investigation into the incident. The Germans attacked the building which is in the suburb of Freidorf shouting: “Heil Hitler. Death to the Jews.” Considerable property damage was also caused.
