A rosette of the French Legion of Honor was today presented to Dr. Joseph Schwartz, European director of the Joint Distribution Committee, by Sen. Justin Godart, Acting Mayor of Lyons, on behalf of the French Government. The ceremony, held at the Center of Contemporary Jewish Documentation, was attended by many Jewish leaders.
