The Palestine Supreme Court today ruled that illegal” Jewish immigrants for whom certificates have been deducted from the regular monthly immigration allotment are “legal residents” of Palestine.

The ruling forced the Palestine Government to accept applications for citizenship from Jews coming within that category. It is estimated that some 70,000 Jewish residents of Palestine will be affected by the decision.
