Mrs. Israel Goldstein of New York was elected president of the Pioneer Women’s Organization of America last night at the final business session. The organization’s tenth national convention closed this afternoon.

Elected as the first delegate from the organization to its Palestinian affi##liate, the Working Women’s Council, was Miss Dvorah Rothbard. The delegates also adopted a resolution calling on President Truman to reinstitute price controls and pledged to cooperate in his campaign to save food for overseas relief needs.
