Abba Schwartz, International Refugee Organization reparations officer today reported that the largest part of the non-monetary gold ##ted by the Nazis from Jews has been converted into bullion and sold to various governments.
Schwartz made his report to the current session of the I.R.O. Preparatery Commission. He also stated that negotiations were continuing between the Allied authorities and the Swiss Government for the recovery of millions of dollars of German assets in Switzerland which are earmarked for relief for victims of Nazism.
