47 European Jewish Refugees Fly Directly to Cuba; Aided by J.D.C. and Hias

Forty-seven Jewish refugees from Europe arrived more during the week-end on a plane from Paris, the first to fly refugees directly to Cuba from the European continent. The Jews had been aided in immigration preparation by the Joint Distribution Committee and HIAS.
