Frank Goldmann, president of B’nai B’rith, urged the adoption and implementation of the UNSCOP majority report on Palestine and the passage by Congress of emergency immigration legislation at the 75th anziversary of the Kansas City Lodge of B’nai B’rith here. He commended the position of the United States in supporting the UNSCOP majority recommendation for partition.

To alleviate the DP situation in Europe, Goldman urged immediate large-scale imigration into Palestine and temporary emergency legislation in the United States to make available unused quotas for the rescue and rehabilitation of the victims of ##, persecution and oppression.
