Dr. Miguel A. Suarez Fernandez, President of the ### Senate, has sent a message to Dr. Guillerno Belt, Cuban delegate at the U.N., ##sking him to support the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine in accordance with three resolutions favoring such action adopted by the Cuban Senate between 1919 and 1947.
Jewish organizations in Cuba have placed advertisements in the major newspapes pointing out to the Cuban people that Dr. Belt is not following the “tran##itional friendly policy of the Cuban people” on the Palestine question. They appeal to President Ramon Grau San Martin to instruct Dr. Belt to change his pro-Arab position.
