Morris Shapiro Elected President of Brandeis Foundation; Six New Members Named to Board

Morris Shapiro of Brookline, Mass., was tonight elected president of the Brandeis Foundation at a meeting of the board of directors.

The board also announced the addition of six new board members from the Greater Boston area. The Foundation serves as the fund-raising arm of Brandeis University, which will be opened next year as the first Jewish-sponsored, non-sectarian institution of higher learning in the United States.
