Rabbi Isaac M. Lewin, president of the ?udah Israel of Palestine, arrived here by plane today from Palestine. He stated ? at he is here to mobilize Jewish organizations “financially and spiritually” to ?ress for the implementation of the U.N. resolution for the partition of Palestine.”
With regard to the violence in the Holy Land, Rabbi Lewin said: “The Jewish community is doing everything possible to defend itself. It is up to world opinion ? point out to the Arabs that the Jewish State will be to their advantage.”
