Govt. Asked to Contribute $70,000 for School in Masaryk Colony in Palestine

The Budget Committee of the Czechoslovak parliament has received a recommendation from its rapporteur that it accept a resolution ##ing the government to contribute 3,500,000 crowns (approximately $70,000) to a ##ool to be erected in the Palestine colony of Kfar Masaryk.

The authorities last year promised the Council of Jewish Communities in ##emia and Moravia that the government would donate the sum for the institution, ##ch is to be named for the late Thomas Masaryk, first president of Czechoslovakia.
