Full support for ORT’s vocational training program for displaced Jews in Italy was voiced here today by Guiseppe Saragat, newlyappointed right wing Socialist Vice-Premier, in an interview with Leon Denenberg, an ORT representative.
Saragat termed ORT’s program for 2,000 DP’s who are being trained in preparation for their departure for Palestine as “work of a great scope and efficiency, having my fullest support and sympathy.” Denenberg also conferred with U.S. Ambassador James Dunn and other officials.
