The Union of South Africa was advised to “do everything possible to ##ltivate relations with the new Jewish state, in an address by Minister of Labor Colic ###teyn, opening the Palestine Industrial exhibition here.Mr. Steyn said that South Africa was already doing a fair amount of trade with Palestine, adding that the present trade balance was greatly in South Africa’s favor. He stated that the “Jews and Arabs will eventually compose their differences and I visualize a strong contented Palestine.”
