The Arab Office in Washington today issued a Statement asserting “it appears certain that the Jewish Agency deliberately misled the U.S. Government” to support partition in hopes that the government would then the compelled to furnish arms, money and men.
“It is now up to the U.S. Government to clarify and to define the extent to which it committed itself to the Jewish Agency,” the statement said.
