President Eduard Benes, today expressed his thanks to the Czechoslovak Zionist Federation for inscribing his name in the Golden Book of the Jewish National Fund.
The names of Benes, Foreign Minister Jan Masaryk and Ambassador Karel Lisicky were inscribed as an expression of the Czech Jewish community’s gratitude for the government’s position on the Palestine issue at the U.N. General Assembly session last year.
