“gentleman’s Agreement” Chosen Best Picture of 1947 by Academy of Motion Picture Arts

“Gentleman’s Agreement” has been voted the best Picture of 1947 by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts. The film, which deals with the problem of social anti-Semitism in the United States, was based on the novel of the same name by Laura z. Hobson. The movie was produced by Darry 1 F. Zanuck.
