More than 30,000 persons filled Yankee Stadium is afternoon to protest against the American Government’s policy reversal on Palestine. Potofsky, president of the Amalgamated Clothing ?rkers of America, Joseph Schlossberg, chairman of the National Committee for Labor Palestine, as well as other top leaders, denounced the U.S. shift and voiced the hope ##t the U.N. General Assembly special Palestine session, opening Friday, would reaffirm the original partition resolution setting up separate Jewish and Arab states Palestine.

Rep. Emanuel Celler denounced the present U.S. position on Palestine and debarred that the Jewish people had been betrayed by false promises. Dr. Abba Hillel ?ver, who was scheduled to speak, was unable to attend because his plane from Washington was grounded by inclement weather. A message from David Ben Gurion was read.
