Kish Miners Urge British Government to Bait Fascist Activities and Propoganda

Representatives of 100,000 South Wales miners, at the annual conference of the South Wales area of the National Union of Mineworkers, unanimously passed a resolution today urging the government to take immediate steps ban all fascist activity in Great Britain, it was learned here today.The resolution expressed regret that the government has not passed legislation to prevent Mosley’s insolence and fascist threats in London.”

The Archbishop of Canterbury, president of the British Council of Christians ## jews, and Dr. Chaim Weizmann headed a list of notables who extended good wishes ## Dr. Leo Baeck, former Chief Rabbi of Berlin, on his 75th birthday. Other tributes ##re received from Lord Samuel, Professor Selig Brodetsky, president of the Board Deputies of British Jews, and from various Jewish organizations in Germany, America and Palestine.
