An overflow crowd of thousands Jammed a Salute to Israel rally here today to express support for the new Jewish state. Speakers included all Jewish leaders in the Netherlands, with Chief Rabbi Edersheim offering special prayers for the success of Israel.
Congratulatory massages were received at the meeting from Indonesian and other groups in Holland. The Association of Dutch Artists offered to contribute one work of each member to the Tel Aviv art gallery, while hopes for cultural exchanges between Israel and the Netherlands wars expressed by leaders in the various fields of art.
