Argentine Chamber of Deputies Votes to Postpone Sending of Greetings to Israel

The Argentine Chamber of Deputies today rejected a resolution introduced by Radical Deputy San Martino to “pay homage to Israel.” A motion calling for postponement of an extension of greetings to the Jewish state was carried by a vote of 85 to 38. The motion states that homage will be paid to the new state “when the opportune moment” is at hand.
