U.S. Urged by National Council of Jewish Women to “maintain Its Course” in Palestine

Mrs. Joseph M. Welt, president of the National Council of Jewish Women, in a latter made public over the week-end, has called on President Truman, Secretary of State George C. Marshall and U.N. delegate Warren Austin to “maintain the course the United States had charted by its forthright leadership” in bringing about the U.N. Palestine partition decision last November and by its recognition of Israel.
