Foreign Minister Denies Turkish Government Will Provide Arads with Military Aid

Turkish foreign Minister Necamettin Sadak denied today a Paris report that he had invited Azzam Pasha, secretary-general of the Arab League, to come to Turkey to discuss military aid to the Arabs warring on the Jewish state. “This is pure invention,” he said of the report. “We have in the past shown our sympathy towards the Arabs, but we not intends to convert this sympathy into effective assistance.
