Prof. Aron Freimann, Hebrew Scholar Who Fled Germany to U.s., Dies at 77

Prof. Aron Freimann, a research fellow of the American Academy of Jewish Research and a noted Hebrew bibliographer, died here last night at the age of 77. A native of Germany, Prof. Freimann came to this country a year before the outbreak of war. He catalogued the Hebrew manuscripts in the Vatican’s library.
