Dr. Max Weinreich, professor of Yiddish at the City College of New York, will serve as visiting professor of Yiddish at the University of California during the summer semester, it was announced her today. Dr. Weinreich will teach Yiddish literature, folklore and language. This will be the first time that Yiddish has been offered at U.C.L.A.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
