Leaders of the Nationalist Party in French Morocco today renewed their appeals to Jews and Moslems to “remain calm,” following the stabbing during the week-end of Mahomet Hajoui, Pasha of Oujda, at funeral services for Jews killed in last week’s rioting in Oujda.

The condition of the Pasha, who was assaulted by a Moslem fanatic after delivering an address rebuking the anti-Jewish rioters, was reported today as improved. Meanwhile, additional French troops arrived in Casablanca to reinforce the garrison at Oujda.
