Michael McLean, Leader of the fascist British Union Movement of Birmingham, today resigned with a blast against Sir Oswald Mosley and the purposes of his group.

Calling the movement “nothing more than a gangster organization,” McLean stated: “I am confronted by the positive fact that anti-Semitism is its principal weapon–the only weapon fascism has capable of creating the sort of organization that Mosley and his beechen need.”
