The Joint Distribution Committee today announced July appropriations of $5,033,000 for relief, reconstruction and resettlement operations on behalf of needy Jews in Europe, North Africa and the Near East. This raises to $41,467,000 the amount allocated in the first seven months of 1948 by the J.D.C.
