Dr. Henry Raphael Gold vas re-elected president of Hapoel Hamizrachi today at the organization’s 25th annual convention held here over the week-end. More than 500 delegates from 43 states attended the parley.
Jacob Greenberg, member of the Zionist Actions Committee, told the convention that Great Britain is trying to forestall the extension of a U.S. loan to Israel. His criticism of the Irgun for breaking the truce in Palestine” was greeted with mixed boos and cheers.
