British Foreign Office to Be Asked to Name New Jewish Advisor to Army in Germany

The Foreign Office will be asked to appoint a successor to the late Col. Robert Solomon, advisor on Jewish affairs to the British occupation authorities in Germany, it was learned here today.

The Committee for the Jews in Germany–comprising representatives of all leading Jewish organizations in Britain–is also expected to ask the Foreign Office to review the legal status of Jews residing at present in the British zone of Germany so as to enable them to organize their communal life.
