The Rumanian Government issued a decree today stating that all schools belonging to religious communities in Rumania, private persons, foreign governments or foreign organizations are nationalized. The decree ordered that all property and equipment belonging to those schools be taken over by the government and that all faculty members come under the government’s jurisdiction.
It was learned authoritatively that the government will soon establish a variety of schools for Jews wherever it may be found necessary to introduce a partly Jewish curriculum in those schools having a given number of Jewish students.
