Military Roundup in Tel Aviv Results in Apprehension of Few Hundred Draft Dodgers

The screening operation which was started here several days ago by Israeli military authorities seeking to round up deserters and draft dodgers concluded today. More than 125,000 persons of military age have been processed in the city with only a few hundred draft dodgers discovered.

The Israeli High Court will open sessions in September, in time for the compiling of a register of voters for the November election, it was announced here today. The census is designed to enroll the entire population, including Arabs above the age of 15 years. Identity cards will be issued which will thereafter be the only legal identification document in Israel.
