Despite the creation of the state of Israel, the World Jewish Congress is still needed to provide a link among Jews throughout the world, it was emphasized today at a press conference by Dr. Nahum Goldman and Dr. Ignacy Schwartzbart, W.J.C. loaders. They stressed that the Congress fights anti-Semitism, and engages in educational and cultural activities among Jews, particularly in countries where Jewish children are unable to obtain a Jewish education.
