Aubrey S. Eban, Israeli representative to the United Nations, and a number of other Israeli passengers were stranded in Rome yesterday following the unexplained cancellation of the flight of a Pan African Airlines plane which was scheduled to fly to Haifa, it was reported here by private sources. The passengers have appealed to Israeli Foreign Minister Moshe Shertok to intervene with the Italians on their behalf.
