Jewish Immigration to South Africa Banned; Only Residents’ Relatives to Receive Visas

Jewish immigration to South Africa has been banned, it was reported here today from Johannesburg.

In the future only close relatives of Jewish residents of South Africa will be given visas to enter the country, the report added. It is this policy which is behind the official policy of carefully screening all prospective immigrants Just established by Interior Minister Theopilus E. Donges, the report stated.
