Delegates a of foreign and American Universities and academic societies have been named to participate in the inaugural ceremonies of Brandeis University, the first Jewish-sponsored, non-sectarian college in the U.S., October 7 to 10, it was announced here today by George Albert, president of the board of trustees.
The educational institutions which have named delegates to the inauguration are: Yenching University of Peiping; University of Aberdeen; University of Toronto; Acedemie des Inscriptions et Balles Lettres; Royal Society of Canada; University of New Brunswick; the Acedemie Royale de Belgique; and the Acedemie des Sciences of the Institute de France. Among the American universities which will be represented are: Washington University; Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Boston College; Boston University.
Other delegates to the exercises include: Dr. Frederick May Eliot, president of the American Unitarian Association for Carleton College; Dr. George E. Sokolsky, lecturer and author for the Montana. School of Mines; Dr. Paul H.Buck, provost of Harvard University; and Max: K.Gilstrap, newspaper editor, for the University of 0klahoma.
