A wave of confidence is sweeping the Jewish displaced persons camps in Europe, Rabbi Samuel Wohl of Cincinnati, who is touring Europe, told a press conference here today. He said that the percentage of Jews in camps who want to go to Israel has risen to almost 100.

Rabbi Wohl, an American Zionist Labor leader, compared the role now being played by Premier David Ben Gurion with that of Winston Churchill during the late war. He praised Czechoslovakia, which he said was aiding Israel today as France aided the United States during the Revolutionary war. He also praised the personnel of the Joint Distribution Committee for cooperating closely with Jewish Agency represent actives in Europe.
