The World ORT Union has been granted consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, it was announced here today. This gives the ORT Union the right to send observers to general conferences of UNESCO, to suggest programs to UNESCO, and to participate in committees of experts and technical conferences of UNESCO.
