British Military Administration Bans Swiss Anti-semitic Publication in Germany

Military occupation authorities in the British zone of Germany have banned the Swiss magazine Neue Politik because of the anti-Semitic character of the publication, it was reported here today. American officials are reported to be investigating the case with an eye to further action against the magazine.

Heinz Deinert, former Nazi district leader of Hanover, has been sentenced by a German court to life imprisonment for murdering a Jew four days before American and British troops broke into the city. An accomplice, Karl Heiz Scheu, received five years.
