President Truman still stands on his campaign pledges with regard to American policy toward Israel, Rep. sol bloom of New York told reporters after a White House call this afternoon. Bloom, who is slated to become chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee in January, said the president “feels everything is going to be ironed out” in Palestine.
