“Israel’s non-admission to the United Nations greatly contributes to the maintenance of instability in the Middle East and can give heart only to those who are interested in a state of war in the Middle East,” an Israeli Government spokesman said here today.

(In Buenos Aires, the DATA, central representative body of Argentine Jewry, today thanked President Juan Peron for “Argentina’s contribution to peace in the Middle East by voting for Israel’s admission to the United Nations.”)
