First Woman Magistrate Appointed in Israel; Wizo Appeals for Women’s Votes in Election

The first woman magistrate in Israel was named today by the Ministry of Justice. Eugenia Winogradow, an attorney, will assume her new post on Jan. 1.

The WIZO (Woman’s International Zionist Organization), which recently constituted itself as a political party, is appealing to women in Israel to cast their votes for WIZO candidates in the forthcoming national elections.
