Between 400 and 500 Canadians are serving in the ranks of the Israeli Army, Israeli Captain Shimon Hacohen, who is now touring the Dominion in the interests of the United Palestine Appeal, said here today.
Hacohen paid tribute to the bravery of the Canadians and made special mention of Brigadier Ben Dunkelman, who commands the Seventh Brigade on the Northern front. Dunkelman can be given much of the credit for the Jewish victories in Galilee, Hacohen declared.
