Veit Harlan, producer of the anti-Semitic Nazi movies, “Jew Suess” and “The Eternal Jew,” will be tried here next month on charges of having aided in the program to exterminate European Jewry, Reuters reported here today.
The British news agency also reported today that two top Nazis–Christian Mueller, former commandant of the Winterberg district in Cologne, and his aide, Hans Mohrherr–were acquitted by a British military court on charges of murdering inmates of a concentration camp located near Cologne. The charges were dismissed on the basis of insufficient evidence.
