Rabbi J.L. Zlotnik, director of the Beard of Jewish Education in South Africa, has been named president of the Israel Institute of Folklore and Ethnology here, it was announced today. Rabbi Zlotnik will soon leave for Israel to take up permanent residence. Sephardic Chief Rabbi Ben Zion Uziel, Vaad Leumi president Itzhak Ben-Zvi and Dr. Max Grunwald wore elected honorary presidents.
