The Spanish Government was today urged to take all necessary measures for “safeguarding the fullest Security of the Jewish community” in Tangiers and Spanish Morocco.
An appeal to this effect was addressed by the World Jewish Congress to the [Spanish Minister in Washington, in view of the tense situation in Spanish Morocco following Arab violence near a synagogue in Alcazarquivir on Feb. 26 in which a Jewish child was killed and several adults were injured.
