The Israeli Knesseth resumed its session today with a sharp debate between the government and the opposition parties over the former’s right to set the Assembly’s agenda.

The final solution was that the government was given the right to draft and present the agenda and members of the body were granted the right to suggest additions. A debate was also scheduled on a bill to establish a comptroller-general’s office.
