British Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin, addressing members of the National Press Club here today, said that the Arab point of view in Palestine should not be overlooked.
Under questioning, he denied that he ever said there was no real place for a Jewish state in the Middle East and that Arabs would push the Jews out of Israel into the Mediterranean. He asked that the world await the outcome of the Middle East problem before he is judged on his stand. Bevin also stated: “I think the Israeli Government is established.”
